Terms and Conditions

The following outlines the basic principles upon which our services are provided. By engaging with Gynaecology Clinic London, all patients agree to these terms and conditions and give their consent to receive care and treatment from our clinic based on these understandings.

Self-Request Tests

When you attend for a self-request test, not under the supervision or instruction of a clinician at Gynaecology Clinic London, the results of the test will not be reviewed by our doctors for any abnormalities. Please note that our doctors are not responsible for providing a clinical diagnosis and cannot comment on the suitability of the test you have selected unless you have had a consultation at the clinic.

If you have any concerns, we strongly recommend booking a consultation with a registered clinician.

Gynaecology Clinic London does not take responsibility for patients undergoing self-requested tests without seeking prior advice from a registered medical practitioner. This service is not intended to replace a full medical consultation. If you are experiencing health issues, please ensure you seek professional medical care.

Please note that our testing services are not designed for urgent cases, as laboratory analysis may require time. For urgent concerns, please consult a registered medical professional before ordering tests.

At Gynaecology Clinic London, all our staff are:

  • Fully trained and experienced in their respective roles
  • Registered with the relevant professional boards
  • Undergo thorough background checks before joining our team

Confidentiality of Information

We take the protection of your privacy seriously. Your personal and medical information will be kept confidential, and we will not disclose it to any third party without your prior consent, unless it is for your benefit, such as sharing information with your GP or other healthcare providers.

Information about you may be shared with members of our staff involved in your care and treatment. Visitors and external professionals requesting information will be directed to the clinic’s Registered Manager or the appropriate person in charge.

CCTV is used for security purposes; however, it will not be used in private areas (e.g., restrooms, changing rooms) or treatment rooms without your consent.

Your personal information will be stored securely, both in paper form and digitally, and will only be used in accordance with the purposes outlined in our Privacy Notice.

  • Equal Opportunities We support the right of all individuals to freely practice their beliefs, culture, or religion, without discrimination. Complaints related to discriminatory practices will be thoroughly investigated.
  • Teaching Occasionally, medical students or staff in training may be present during your consultations. If you are not comfortable with this, please inform us.
  • Chaperoning If you prefer to have a chaperone present during your consultation, please notify the receptionist or your clinician. In certain circumstances, the clinician may arrange for a chaperone for safety or clinical reasons.

Making a Complaint and Giving Compliments

We value all feedback and encourage you to share both complaints and compliments, as they help us improve our services. We assure you that all complaints will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. You will receive an initial response within 24 hours, and a final resolution within 28 days.

In the event a complaint is upheld, we will offer an apology and take the necessary actions to address the issue. Service users may involve a third party in the complaints process if desired.

Respect for Other Service Users and Staff

We ask that all patients and visitors treat others with courtesy and respect. Any loud, abusive, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Patients who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be asked to leave the premises. Smoking is not permitted on or near the clinic.

For the safety of all, children must be supervised at all times. Unsupervised children may result in the suspension of services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to patients who violate the clinic’s terms, behave abusively, or otherwise disrupt the clinic’s operations.

Payment Arrangements

Treatment fees will be disclosed at the point of service or communicated via email if booked through our online platform. We recommend discussing any concerns regarding fees before your treatment begins.

Deposits made online to secure bookings are refundable within 24 hours of the appointment if the clinic is notified of the cancellation. If cancelled within 24 hours, the deposit is non-refundable.

Full payment for services is due at the end of your appointment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Gynaecology Clinic London sometimes offers promotional offers on appointments, which must be pre-booked and paid in full via our online booking system.
